Jenna Scarbrough

Associate Analyst

Analyst Jenna Scarbrough joined Lake Research Partners in 2021 after completing her master’s degree in political communication from American University. Her graduate capstone focused on designing a survey to test messages around the Green New Deal and sustainability, particularly investigating how to bypass climate nihilism. During grad school, Jenna interned on the Hill for Senator Tina Smith, served as a graduate research assistant, and directed communications on a progressive campaign in her hometown—a historic campaign with the first genderqueer candidate in South Dakota and one of the first nationwide. Before moving to D.C., Jenna completed a Fulbright grant in Malaysia and interned for Senator Amy Klobuchar in Minnesota. Jenna spends her free time reading in hammocks and pretending to play the banjo.
