Following an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Brian worked at neuroimaging labs at Duke and Yale before a Masters in Statistics and a PhD in Cognitive Science at UCI Irvine, with a focus on decision theory, evolutionary game theory, and visual perception. Prior to joining LRP in 2023, Brian worked in private industry, applying cognitive science principles and scientific methodology to various aspects of the business model including user experience, marketing, product design, retail design, customer profiling and customer choice modeling, and big data collection/management. In his private time, Brian applies his passion for game theory and statistical analysis to scare everyone at his weekly board game nights into banding together to eliminate him first in every game they play.
