Lake Research Partners is a national public opinion and political strategy research firm founded by Celinda Lake in 1995, and the most consistently accurate—and consistently progressive—Democratic research firm in the country. This independent analysis of pollsters underscores our simultaneous commitment to innovation and rigorous turnout models and sampling methodology. 

Our principals are leading information and political campaign strategists, serving as tacticians and senior advisors to a wide range of advocacy groups, labor unions, non-profits, government agencies, companies, and foundations, as well as dozens of elected officials at all levels of the electoral process and progressive parties across the world. The firm is national in scope, with offices in Washington, D.C. and California, and senior staff located in Arizona, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Virginia, and Washington.

We also are not in the business of telling people what they want to hear. We don’t ramp up with temporary hires during election cycles to fill demand and let workers go without a job or benefits after Election Day. Instead, we invest time and training into our employees and enable them to develop unparalleled expertise on specific issues and geographic regions. We are generous in our health care insurance coverage and continue to cover dependents and domestic partners. We provide paid maternity and paternity leave—and have done so since our inception as a firm.
